Our Training Services include “industry- merge” training ; creating courses that merge an employer’s policies and procedures with current industry standards. We have four  primary programs: Healthcare, Hospitality, Safety, and General Business.

  1. Our Healthcare Division employs trainers that are nurses or healthcare professionals who have Train the Trainer certifications or advanced degrees in the healthcare industry. We have a large selection of courses for the Healthcare Industry that meets OSHA, Medicare/Medicaid, JACHO, and DHH requirements. Though our partnership with the American Heart Association our Certified Trainers can provide Heartsaver, BLS, and First Aide Certifications. We also are an approved provider for Alzheimer’s Dementia Certification in the state of Louisiana. Our trainers are also Nationally Certified Alzheimer’s/Dementia educators.

  2. Our Hospitality Division employs trainers that are from the restaurant and hospitality industries who have Train the Trainer certifications or advanced degrees in the hospitality industry. We have a large selection of courses for the hospitality industry including Serve Safe Food Handlers, and Serve Safe Dietary Manager Certification.

  3. Our Safety Division employs OSHA 501 Authorized Outreach Trainers who have extensive industry experience in Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Healthcare, Hospitality, and General Business. We have a large selection of safety courses that meet OSHA, Workers Comp Insurance requirements and regulations for annual training programs. PSA can provide customized training solutions, which are industry and facility specific.

  4. Our General Business Division employs Certified Trainers that are well versed in Sales, Soft Skills, Leadership, Supervisory, Management, LEAN, and Human Resources programs. We also have National Train the Trainers for the True Colors programs (Personal Success, Teambuilding, Communication, and True Coaching)

Our training delivery model can be live onsite training, E-learning, or Distance learning with a live instructor. We also can customize the length and the content of each of our courses to meet the employer’s needs.

Grant Management

Need funding for training? PSA can help Louisiana employers receive grant funds for their training via the Incumbent Worker Training Program through the Louisiana Workforce Commission. PSA is an approved private training provider/partner for both the Customized (more than 50 employees) and the Small Business (less than 50 employees) training grant programs.

As a partner of both grant programs, PSA’s training can be paid for through a grant and we can develop and manage both the Customized and Small Business training grants for Louisiana employers. We do not charge the employer a fee for our grant writing and management services. We receive a 10% admin fee from the Louisiana Workforce Commission via our partnership.

 As a successful private training provider, PSA ‘s grant team has successfully written over 80 customized and 20 small business grants totally well over 30 million in IWTP since 2004.

These programs help Louisiana businesses cover training costs (public and private tuition, fees, textbooks, supplies, and onsite vendor training, live instructor led training, e-learning, and distance learning) to help grow their business in Louisiana.
